During the holidays… teachers don’t stop learning!

Over 100 educators from preschools, schools in Verkhnyaya and Nizhnyaya Salda, as well as a college, gathered at the Perspektiva PIC (Project and Innovation Center) for the training session titled "Projects that Transform Schools." The training was conducted by Dmitry Brekhov, a master of the School of Humanitarian Catalysts, as well as an expert from the Ranepa Ranhigs University, along with Julia Manaenkova, the vice rector of the Higher Technical School in Tula and an expert from the Empathy Charitable Foundation, founded by Mikhail Shelkov.

Throughout the day, they immersed the participants in the technology of design thinking, discussed the concept of educational design, explored how projects can transform schools, and emphasized the role of the teacher’s personality and emotional engagement in this process.

Julia Manaenkova explained that the intensive training is the first event within the extensive project called “Pedagogical Workshop,” initiated by the charitable foundation Empathy, founded by Mikhail Shelkov, a shareholder of VSMPO-AVISMA. By the end of the year, over 500 educators will become participants of this project, and nearly 500 more will take part in qualification enhancement programs.
