“It’s cool when I run to my own class,” teacher Dima Zitser on what teachers should be like

Snob talked to modern teachers and winners of the contest "Teaching as a Calling" about what their profession means to them, how to make their lessons interesting for children, and how to maintain a balance between the status of teacher and friend.

Why should a lesson be fun? What distinguishes a good teacher from a bad one? And what do teachers and actors have in common? These questions and more were discussed by Dima Zitser, founder of the Institute of Non-Formal Education and Orange, a school of non-formal education, in his interview with Snob.

The competition was organized by Mikhail Shelkov’s Empathy Charitable Foundation in cooperation with the Ministry of Education in the Tula Region. “Teaching as a Calling” is aimed at supporting educational and development activities, as well as the development of creative and intellectual abilities, and professional the competency of teachers in the Tula Region.
