The Psychological Workshop project was launched in the Sverdlovsk Region. Its goal is to improve the psychological literacy of parents and form a favorable psychological climate in schools. More than 180 teachers, parents and school children from Verkhnyaya Salda participated in the first meetings.
The project was developed by the Higher Technical School (Tula) on the initiative of Mikhail Shelkov’s Empathy Foundation.
Mikhail Shelkov, the founder of Empathy, said:
“The foundation will hold seminars with the participation of invited psychologists on a quarterly basis. Teachers and parents of school children will be able to choose the topics of the meetings themselves – whether it is an issue that has been on their minds for a long time, or something that is just interesting to understand at leisure. The main thing for us is not to impose a certain development trajectory on teachers, but to create it with them, step-by-step.”
