The editors noticed that the region doesn’t disclose information about teachers' salaries. However, judging by what teachers themselves say, one of the highest levels of salaries in the region is in Verkhnyaya and Nizhnyaya Salda.
Sverdlovskstat (statistics agency) no longer discloses information about the average salaries of teachers in the cities of the region. The agency only gives the average figure for the entire region. For January-March this number amounted to 43 363 rubles (760 USD), reported URA.RU in the press service of Sverdlovskstat.
“The data on the average salary of teachers by municipalities are not calculated by Rosstat. The fact is that the Ministry of Education has instructed that, when assessing the achievement of salary level targets, federal payments established for classroom management are not to be taken into account. Therefore, the amount of 5 000 rubles (90 USD) was removed from the total average amount for the Sverdlovsk Region, and other municipalities stopped reflecting it in the statistics. The program has not yet been designed to automatically add this amount, and no one does it manually,” explained an article in Sverdlovskstat.
They expressed hope that in the future the program will automatically add additional payments for classroom management. Meanwhile, judging by what teachers themselves say, one of the highest levels of salaries in the region is in Verkhnyaya and Nizhnyaya Salda. There, teachers receive an additional payment of 15 000 rubles (260 USD) from the Empathy Charitable Foundation, established by Mikhail Shelkov, deputy chairman of the board of directors of VSMPO-AVISMA.
