Mikhail Shelkov's Empathy Foundation and Myslo's editorial board are launching a contest among portal readers for the best story about your favorite teachers as part of the regional competition for teachers "Teaching as a Calling". Moreover, 2023 has been declared the Year of Teacher and Mentor in Russia - when, but not now, to thank those who taught us?
Mikhail Shelkov, the founder of Empathy, is convinced that every person has had a teacher about whom he or she can say: “If it weren’t for him, I wouldn’t have been able to…” or “Thanks to him, I learned…” Who is that teacher for you? Talking about your teacher is the best way to say thank you.
Last week, the Empathy Foundation and the Ministry of Education of the Tula Region announced the lists of contestants who have passed to the final stage of the “Teaching as a Calling” contest. And while teachers are fighting for the titles of the best in the region, let’s share stories about those teachers who will always be the best for you.
Whether they are today’s pupils and students or have been graduates for many years – everyone can take part.
To do this, tell on the pages of the city portal Myslo about your teacher, whom you consider the best, to whom you are grateful or whom you just often remember.
Until August 28, 2023 (inclusive) send your touching and heartfelt stories about teachers to news@myslo.ru or upload them here on the site – registration in two clicks.
All stories will be posted on the Myslo.ru portal. Following the contest, Myslo will prepare interviews with the heroes of the most interesting stories.
Three winning authors will receive memorable prizes from Myslo portal and a gift set from Empathy Foundation: a shopping bag, a diary and a cozy sweatshirt or a stylish T-shirt in fashionable beige colors with a heart print.
