A co-working space was opened in the Oktava Cluster

On May 24, the official opening of a new space - the first co-working space in Tula, located on the fourth floor of the Oktava Cluster - took place. The platform had been launched in test mode back in early May 2022.

Mikhail Shelkov, Empathy founder, successful entrepreneur and main investor in the cluster, said:

We are very pleased that the first co-working space in Tula is being opened today at Oktava. Now we can confidently say that even more Tula residents will become frequent guests of the cluster. Oktava was conceived as a point of attraction in the city – a space for recreation, learning and creativity, where now you can also work. Forty companies have already applied for places in the co-working center, and we are happy to accept them. We hope that in a few years the technologies and developments of the cluster’s residents will be known far beyond the borders of the Tula Region.

The co-working space of 140 square meters is designed for 18 workplaces. The project includes a fully equipped kitchen space, designated “quiet” and “noisy” zones, as well as a meeting room. Among the advantages of the site are the working hours from 09:00 to 21:00, its location in the city center, the opportunity to become a resident of the cluster and attend events at a discount and, of course, the chance to establish useful contacts for work. Next, the team plans to invite speakers for thematic courses of lectures and workshops.
