In honor of Knowledge Day, experts from various fields discussed education issues at the Tulskie Izvestiya discussion club, which was held in support of the large-scale pedagogical competition "Teaching as a Calling" held by the Tula Region Ministry of Education and the Empathy Charitable Foundation by the Ministry of Education of the Tula Region and the Empathy Charitable Foundation.
51 winners in 15 nominations of the contest will be announced only in October, and in the meantime the invited experts discussed what, in their opinion, a real Teacher should be. Almost every participant of the discussion had his own answer to this question and, as it turned out, not always coinciding with the opinion of others.
